i wonder if the same 12 words apply to all english speaking countries or just the US. it’s hard to imagine that cultural differences wouldn’t alter the results.

i also wonder what the 13th word was.

interesting article though. i’ll memorise the list, adjust my vocab accordingly, and report back if my powers of persuasion improve…

Good question re: whether different countries would make a difference. I’m with you… I suspect not. I thought the discussionr re: Free and Safety was interesting too!

Maybe I’m missing something, but isn’t the point of that article that the list seems to have been made up, and therefore isn’t true?

thats exactially what i thought. a big con
