		<description>yes, I did read Shelley's blog... and yes, I didn't like her approach re: linking.

I was almost thinking that blogs might get an exception from this rule - seeing as historically one of their key purposes is to link elsewhere...

I'm going to have to think on that some more and consider adding the 'linked in this post' list at the bottom of the page.

I wonder if WordPress has a plugin that will automate that for me!

		<description>did you ever read Shelley Powers' Burningbird weblog? She always had links listed inline as well as after the post ("linked in this post"). It was pretty cool. I think I'd like to implement something like that on my blog.</description>
