another quite nice timeline. I like the simplicity of the interaction and the associated page movement… but I’m not sure what each of the three columns represent?

actually, I *had* seen the Google Finance timeline but for some reason didn’t think of it in the context of a timeline (just as a means of presenting financial information). You’re right though, it’s an excellent example. (Going straight to the delicious account!)
