Interestingly I read a book on the plane on the way over that explains this really well, it’s called Made To Stick, and if you need to be communicating your ideas to others it’s definitely worth a read. I suspect I've broken a few of the good podcast rules already! It's interesting to hear everyone's different styles and realize that each person can have her or his own style, and that's okay. But still, there are better and worse ways to get ideas across, like you point out.
